The Company

Soil-Mat Engineers has been in operation in Hamilton since 1992.  Founded by Danny Schebesch, John Monkman and Gil Adams Soil-Mat Engineers has established itself as a well respected firm within the development and construction sector.  The firm continues to operate on the same core values on which it was founded, providing a high standard of service and value to all of our client's projects.

The Facilities

Located in Hamilton our office is well positioned to serve a wide area of the Niagara peninsula and the western GTA.  Soil-Mat Engineers maintain a level 1 CSA certified concrete testing laboratory and have CSA certified concrete testing technicians on staff.  In addition the firm maintains a full service soils and aggregate testing laboratory.  Our testing services include many specialised procedures, such as hydraulic conductivity, rapid chloride penetration testing of concrete, percolation time testing for septic bed design, consolidation testing, and others.

The Professional Team

Soil-Mat Engineers offers a well experience staff of Professional Engineers, geoscientists, and technicians to meet the needs of any project.  Currently our technical staff include four licensed Professional Engineers, one Engineer in Training, two environmental scientists, and thirteen field and laboratory technicians.  All of the firms work is supported by a dedicated group of administrative support staff.
